Hydrangea Events was created out of the love for helping couples, their families and dearest friends celebrate the beginning of their journey as a married couple. As a photographer, I was there to document the beautiful day created by many amazing vendors. Now, I am thrilled to be there from the beginning, helping to create that perfect day.

Where exactly are you located?

Hydrangea Events is located in "the pub" building on the property of Retriever Brewing Company. RBC used to be the Willow Grove Events and was known for hosting large weddings and events.
On the property, there is the big building that is the main "hall" for Retriever Brewing Company. There are also several other buildings. The ranch house next to Hydrangea Events will become the place for couples to get ready with Bridal Suite and the Partner/Groom Suite. And the charming building previously known as "the pub" is now Hydrangea Events.

Can we book you to be our wedding coordinator?

No need...As your host, I am there to help you along the way, from planning to the day of. On the day of your event, I will be there to help set up and then clean up at the end. During your event, I will be on site in the office just a few steps away.

Our dogs are part of the family. Are they allowed to be a part of our day?

Yes, absolutely. During our meeting and tour, we will go over all the option and plan out the best way for your dog(s) to be part of your special day.

Can you help us with ideas and style boards?

Yes, absolutely! Our Pinterest page already has lots of ideas saves and ready to create style boards.
I am also more than happy to offer ideas and give input based on my experiences as a wedding photographer.

Do we have to use your vendors?

The vendors you see listed on the 'Vendors' page are hand picked and absolutely wonderful, creating your ultimate 'dream team'. Having been a part of the wedding industry for almost 18 years, I met and worked with many vendors in the Lehigh Valley. Some of us became friends or have worked together on many occasions. They are also amazing creatives, professional, and just all around great people.
However, you may hire your own vendors. :)

Can we bring our own flowers, wine & beer, deserts?

Hydrangea Events is BYOB so you will be bringing your own wine, beer, and spirits.
You are welcome to bring your own flowers and create your own arrangements.
Cake and/or other deserts can be provided only through a licensed bakery or any grocery/bake store as long as they arrive in sealed boxes/containers from those locations.
However, if you have that someone special in your family or friends' group who does super yummy cookies, cakes, or other deserts, just let me know. :)

We booked our ceremony outside. What happens if it rains?

The spacious Bridal Suite filled with lots of natural light will be set up as your indoor ceremony spot in case of rain, excessive heat, high winds, or other inclement weather.
You may also chose to have your ceremony indoors.

Do you have a place where we can get dressed? Have hair & makeup done?

Yes, the ranch house will be set up as two separate areas with Bridal Suite and Partner/Groom Suite. These two spaces are completely separated by my office and so no chances of you running into each other.
The Bridal Suite is a large room with lots of natural light and high ceilings. It is next to a full bath so lots of space to be comfortable.
The Partner/Groom Suite will be in the 'front' of the house and consists of a small living room, dining room, kitchen, and full bath. This space has lots of room to get ready and relax before the I DOs.

We read that you are remodeling the space. What are the plans for the ranch house and the backyard area?

Since the vision to create a beautiful space for intimate weddings and small events, we mapped out the plan into phases.
Phase One was the remodel of 'the pub' inside. We left the stone walls, the natural wood beams, and the more modern lighting and ceiling as it was since that is what make The Hydrangea charming and perfect for any decor style. We took out the little kitchen area and the oversized bar to create a more open floor plan. We added an amazing all wood vintage bar and a statement beautiful hutch.
Phase Two is to 'convert' the ranch house into the Bridal Suite and the Partner/Groom Suite.
Phase Three is the outdoor (backyard) space with the big outdoor patio and bar. I can already see all the fun and laughter and lots of special moments happening in this private area. The patio will be fixed up and painted. The outdoor bar will be refreshed and set up for outdoor events and receptions. We will be creating a beautiful ceremony spot with amazing mature trees and landscaping as the backdrop. And the pool will be filled to create a garden/grass area to host ceremonies or even tented events.

How do we book our event at Hydrangea Events?

We are thrilled to host your event!
During your tour, you will receive a folder with all the details. It will also include a contract that outlines our payment schedule and other important aspects of booking at The Hydrangea. You can also book through an online portal.
You will also receive the link to secure your 'day-of' insurance for your event. It is quick to sign up and pay ($50) and will give you a peace of mind that everything is covered.
